We are pleased to announce a new and important update of our original and legacy desktop wallet software called Abelian Desktop Wallet Legacy v4.2.0, now available for download at our official page, https://community.pqabelian.io/downloads/latest.html

With the One-Click Migration feature, users can now transfer all their ABEL tokens from an old address made with the Abelian Desktop Wallet Legacy to a new one created using the Abelian Desktop Pro (MLP).

What’s New?

• One-Click Migration: We strongly recommend migrating from legacy wallets to MLP wallets. An MLP wallet no longer needs users to remember the maximum recoverable number of wallets. This enhances the usability greatly. Furthermore, we will only support the brand-new MLP wallets and fades out the legacy wallet type for all the forthcoming features to be rolled out, that includes ABEL Staking, for example.

You need to install the Desktop Wallet Pro (MLP) v1.0.0 and create a new wallet account (fully-private or pseudo-private type). Then, use the Abelian Desktop Wallet Legacy wallet and its Migration function to transfer all the ABEL coins from each legacy wallet account to the new MLP wallet account.

Why Should You Upgrade?

• The MLP wallet address is significantly easier to use without remembering any sequence number (aka maximum recoverable number of wallets). And for the first time, you can create multiple MLP addresses, each offering a different level of privacy — either fully private or pseudo-private.

We strongly recommend that everyone migrates their ABEL coins from legacy wallets to MLP wallets at their earliest convenience.
